  • Join CAC founder Nena Malhotra for a personalized three-session workshop in which you and your teen will learn about your their educational options and how they can best prepare to be competitive applicants.

    Session 1: A straightforward account of the benefits and drawbacks of different types of schools and programs that might be a fit for your teen. For example, 

    • Public vs. private

    • Small college vs. mid-sized or large university 

    • Special focus vs. general education program

    • Co-ed vs. single-sex

    • Secular vs. religious (and degrees thereof)

    • Historically Black (HBCU) 

    • Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI)

    Session 2: A clear and candid explanation of admissions practices at each type of program/institution, including the ones colleges work hard to keep under wraps! 

    Session 3: A set of action items for your teen to complete, and a timeline in which to complete them .
